Capture the power of #eCWNC19
Where did the great music go? What happened to those illuminated palm trees? Who silenced the silent disco? By dawn on Sunday morning, all trace of Saturday night’s amazing celebration was gone. Just a few thin hours stood between the final memorable chords from the sound stage and the serious business of Day 3 at the 2019 eClinicalWorks and healow National Conference.
In the lobby of the Orlando World Center Marriott, the rhythmic patter of torrential rain washed across the glass ceiling in waves as thousands gathered for the second day of the eClinicalWorks and healow National Conference.
There are many ways to measure the changes in healthcare over the last 20 years — the dominance of EHRs, new technologies, and empowered patients. And many were on display during Friday morning’s Keynote Address at the 2019 eClinicalWorks and healow National Conference.

Making real connections in a digitized world
We live in a digitized, globalized world driven by phones, apps, email, and who-knows-what technologies to come. Yet, as over 5,000 people gather in Orlando for Friday’s opening of the 2019 eClinicalWorks and healow National Conference, every one of us is excited to meet old friends, share our experiences, and make new connections — in person.
Why? Because #eCWNC19 is about making the personal connections that can be hard to forge in our fast-paced world.
This year is special. This year marks the 20th year since eClinicalWorks set out on its mission to improve healthcare together. We're always looking for great stories for the National Conference – We want to hear yours!
Big Sur is the lone health center that offers healthcare for a hundred miles of California coastline. In the winter of 2016-17, mudslides tore apart the environment – cutting off the community from the rest of the world.
The health center had no choice but to shut down. Close by in Monterey, Dr. Brita Breummer was able to use cloud-based technology to access patients' Electronic Medical Records and charts through the eClinicalWorks EHR system.
Sunday was our last day together at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, but even though the conclusion of the 2018 eClinicalWorks National Conference was in sight, it was clearly no time to let up on the learning and networking.
The thousands of eClinicalWorks customers who came to Nashville this weekend expected to hear about improvements to the core EHR, see some new products and services, renew friendships, and have some fun.
Although our 11th annual National Conference is still four months away, we are in full-speed prep mode for the big event in Nashville, Tennessee! We’ve been designing, organizing, packing and planning so our customers can enjoy an experience to top even the hard-to-follow 2017 Conference.
The 2017 eClinicalWorks National Conference was full of excitement and announcements, as we brought together more than 4,000 medical professionals to explore the latest developments on the healthcare IT frontier. We debuted Eva, our virtual assistant, offered a sneak peek at V11, and highlighted what’s new with our core EMR and Practice Management solution. From advances in interoperability to improvements in Revenue Cycle Management and much more, Dallas was unforgettable!
They say all good things must come to an end, and today marks the end of the 2017 eClinicalWorks National Conference. But what if there were a way to preserve the sense of discovery and renewal that we experienced this past weekend in Dallas? What if you could take it all back to your practice with you, and somehow open it up fresh every time you needed a bit of inspiration?
The Saturday Night Celebration still seems to echo about the Gaylord Texan Hotel & Convention Center, from the far corners of the Atrium to the Glass Cactus nightclub. The aroma of short ribs lingers in the air, the images of cowboys on stilts have been captured on many a smartphone, and the sights and sounds of the silent disco won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
That classic line from “Office Space” — “I’m going to need you to come in on Saturday…” — works great on the screen, but it’s usually not something folks like to hear in real life. Except this weekend in Dallas at the eClinicalWorks National Conference!Simply put, this Saturday is one that no one wanted to miss. It’s heart-of-the-Conference, get-down-to-business time.
CEO Girish Navani paused, scanned the sea of faces in front of him at the annual Keynote and Product Showcase, and with a rainbow of paper charts displayed on the big screen behind him, declared: “We took your paper charts away. How many of you still have these racks in your offices?”
