Sunday was our last day together at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, but even though the conclusion of the 2018 eClinicalWorks National Conference was in sight, it was clearly no time to let up on the learning and networking.
The thousands of eClinicalWorks customers who came to Nashville this weekend expected to hear about improvements to the core EHR, see some new products and services, renew friendships, and have some fun.
Although our 11th annual National Conference is still four months away, we are in full-speed prep mode for the big event in Nashville, Tennessee! We’ve been designing, organizing, packing and planning so our customers can enjoy an experience to top even the hard-to-follow 2017 Conference.
The 2017 eClinicalWorks National Conference was full of excitement and announcements, as we brought together more than 4,000 medical professionals to explore the latest developments on the healthcare IT frontier. We debuted Eva, our virtual assistant, offered a sneak peek at V11, and highlighted what’s new with our core EMR and Practice Management solution. From advances in interoperability to improvements in Revenue Cycle Management and much more, Dallas was unforgettable!
They say all good things must come to an end, and today marks the end of the 2017 eClinicalWorks National Conference. But what if there were a way to preserve the sense of discovery and renewal that we experienced this past weekend in Dallas? What if you could take it all back to your practice with you, and somehow open it up fresh every time you needed a bit of inspiration?
The Saturday Night Celebration still seems to echo about the Gaylord Texan Hotel & Convention Center, from the far corners of the Atrium to the Glass Cactus nightclub. The aroma of short ribs lingers in the air, the images of cowboys on stilts have been captured on many a smartphone, and the sights and sounds of the silent disco won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
That classic line from “Office Space” — “I’m going to need you to come in on Saturday…” — works great on the screen, but it’s usually not something folks like to hear in real life. Except this weekend in Dallas at the eClinicalWorks National Conference!Simply put, this Saturday is one that no one wanted to miss. It’s heart-of-the-Conference, get-down-to-business time.
CEO Girish Navani paused, scanned the sea of faces in front of him at the annual Keynote and Product Showcase, and with a rainbow of paper charts displayed on the big screen behind him, declared: “We took your paper charts away. How many of you still have these racks in your offices?”
It’s the eve of the 2017 eClinicalWorks National Conference, and everywhere you go inside the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center — from the smallest breakout session room to the Texas Ballroom’s ocean of seats — there is motion, music, murmurs of anticipation, and last-minute musings.
Four days of inspiration. Four days of innovation. Four days of interaction with fellow professionals from across the nation and around the world. Orlando has been magical!
From the pulsating introduction of Friday’s Keynote, through dozens of breakout sessions, panel discussions, and live Podcasts, you’ve seen and shared the best that eClinicalWorks has to offer. And the only question after Saturday’s legendary Sunset Celebration is this: Can next year top it?
Let’s find out! Set your sights on Texas, and save the date — October 6-9, 2017 — at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, where we’ll stage the 2017 eClinicalWorks National Convention. Registration opens in January.
It’s push time. The final day of an exhilarating and packed conference. By now, those lasting impressions of Saturday’s Sunset Celebration have blended with all you’ve heard about billing, interoperability, Population Health, and Patient Engagement. To be honest, you’re not sure how much more you can absorb, or exactly how you’ll put all this new knowledge to use once you get back to the office.
Maybe you should have attended one more breakout session, gotten a bit of Hands-On Training, or connected with one more exhibitor. Maybe instead you just enjoyed that 75-degree, postcard-ready Orlando weather and chatted with other convention-goers.
There’s been a lot of amazing teamwork at the 2016 eClinicalWorks National Conference over the last few days. Start with the eCW teams who pulled everything together for Friday’s Keynote and kickoff. Don’t forget the phenomenal staff of the Orlando World Center Marriott, who are catering to the needs of thousands of attendees with professionalism and unfailing politeness. And how about the stars of the show, the thousands of our clients, providers and vendors, who brought their own teams to Orlando for an extraordinary weekend of learning, sharing, and networking!
The eClinicalWorks 2016 National Convention isn’t very far from Disney’s world-famous Magic Kingdom, but there’s clearly no need to leave the Orlando World Center Marriott to get a taste of magic. As Day 2 rolls on, our clients, vendors and employees are busy working up a realm of magic all their own.
As impressive as the opening of our conference was on Friday, the continuing enthusiasm of Day 2 is more impressive still.
The all-day 10i User Group Meeting kicked off a day of events at 8 a.m.
An hour later, full of coffee and energy, clients were pouring into the meeting rooms for sessions on hands-free documentation, leveraging eBO for your patients and practice, and using smart searches to navigate the thousands of ICD-10 diagnostic codes.
As is often the case, sessions offering best practices proved to be among the most popular. Clients lined up this morning outside Grand 8B for the CBO session titled “How to Make Your Billing Office More Efficient.”
Today’s weather outside the Orlando World Center Marriott was classic Florida — bright sunshine, gently swaying palm trees, and a comfortable 85 degrees. But inside the convention center there was plenty of thunder!
A first round came from eClinicalWorks employees giving an enthusiastic reception to the thousands of our clients arriving for the 2016 National Conference Keynote. And a second round from those clients applauding CEO Girish Navani, Sameer “Sam” Bhat, and Dr. Raj Dharampuriya as they unveiled our company’s latest products, improvements, and initiatives.
From all 50 states and overseas, our customers and employees are arriving in sunny Orlando!
